RAMADAN TROPHY
During the month of Ramadan 2003
A.G.C. Clubhouse after dark: The Clubhouse has recently been decorated with coloured lights so that
it is now
very pretty after
dusk.
During Ramadan A.G.C. stage a special series of
competitions for the Ramadan Trophy.
Consisting of four
rounds of Stableford played over each Friday in Ramadan, the winner
will be the golfer with the best total of any two rounds played. Golfers may start
either in the early morning (6:00am-8:00am) or later in the day
(11:00am-12:00pm). There will be a prize for the winner of
each round and prizes for First , Second and Third
for the overall Competition.
The current
leaders and all the latest positions of the Trophy will be posted on
this website under the Tournaments section. Since the Ramadan Trophy is
a stableford
competition
there are no gross prizes, only
prizes for the most points with the event handicap (7/8 full
handicap). The current leader (after one round) is S.K.
Kausal whose card I myself
marked. He finished very strongly with three gross birdies in his last four
holes.
As you may have noticed, I have changed the composition of the Monthly Medals in the computer, so that they now appear as rounds of the "Club Championship". The Net part of the Club Championship is the Medals Qualifying. Players can now see their position in these season-long events and the individual medal results on this website immediately after each round.
