On behalf of Bader Al-Bannay, Vice Captain and myself, I would like to welcome all Kuwaiti Golfers to a new and exciting season in 2005/2006.  Very rarely do we get a chance to witness the birth of a new era, but this is exactly what Golf in Kuwait is entering into with the opening of the first grass golf course in Kuwait - Sahara Golf Club.  For the Kuwait Golf Team, Sahara Golf Club gives us the opportunity to play and practice at a facility where we can set our goals higher for future appearances at the Pan Arab and the GCC Golf Championships. 

 

The first qualifying event was held on Nov 18th with the remaining events to be played in conjunction with the Sahara Men's club schedule, that is set to be released in early 2006.  All Kuwaiti golfers are welcomed and encouraged to participate.
