A.G.C. staged the second "PETER WILSON COMPETITION" sponsored once again
by Bhasin & Co on Friday 26th November. Play started from
7:00-8:30am and finished about 1:00pm, when the Tournament Prizes were
presented followed by Lunch. Peter Wilson was a long
time golfer in Kuwait, who died on the golf course in Kuwait in the 1980s.
The Competition was played using the "Bogey" format in which like matchplay
every hole can be won, lost or halved. Khalid Bin Sabt (4
Up) won from Ghassan Al-Saleh (3 Up), Michael Fox (2 Up) and
Sunil Vipat (Level). There were prizes too for Long drive (7th) and
Nearest the Pin(9th), which went to Sonny Cajipe and Bader
Hussein respectively.
