It was a 4-man Texas Scramble NDTA military golf tournament at the Riffa golf club in Bahrain the 16th of Mar.2006 (Raith Engineering from Kuwait that were the Main sponsor) 22- 4 man teams participated. The weather was Great with a little wind and we had a 7:30 Shotgun start.Our team started at hole number one and just before the tee-off Our captain told us good luck and the 1st one to get a hole in one would win a Mini Cooper well I told my playing partner( Randy) that My daughter just got her Driving license a couple days ago and told me she really wanted a Mini cooper,Her mom and her had been looking at them and I looked with her the last time I was home, so my playing partner told me well looks like your going to have to get a hole in one today. well we get to hole No. 4 and it's Aprox 120 yards into a stiff wind and when my turn came up I hit a 8 Iron and my ball went into the hole. well the 4 of us went crazy and i was shaking so bad i could hardly keep it together.well thinking I won the mini cooper for my Daughter aprox two holes later I found out it was the wrong hole it was Hole # 8 not # 4,  I was on a roller coaster of emotions. But the day turn out to be wonderful, their plenty of food  drinks and prizes and it was very well organize .
