A.G.C. staged the  1st K.O.C. Championship last Friday, a new event designed to attract the best golfers in Kuwait.

The Tournament, a stroke play competition, offered 5 Gross Prizes and 3 Net Prizes plus Best Gross & Best Net for K.N.T. players.  The maximum handicap allowance was restricted to 18. There were also prizes for N.T.P. and L.D. (both men & ladies). 
   The course had been specially prepared for the event with new cups and fresh pin positions. The browns were in very good condition indeed.  The weather was great, exceptionally cool with a short

April shower towards the end of the round. After play there was a Lunch and a prize-giving ceremony where as usual Adnan Assaf won the top prize proving yet again  that he is the best golfer in Kuwait. Everyone agreed that the new tournament was an outstanding success.
